We are looking for a Production Coordinator to join the team at our office in Mississauga. You will act as a key component of our Merchandising team assisting in the administration of our PLM system and planning & coordinating facets of the production cycle. Job Duties And Responsibilities


  • Create purchase orders for new and repeat style orders
  • Support other internal department needs by regularly publishing information critical to successful shipment of American Tall merchandise to end customers
  • Coordinate and support the production cycle for all purchase orders
  • Receive and review order confirmations/Pro Forma invoices from vendors and factories
  • Work cross-functionally to support American Tall’s Planning team to ensure necessary documents regarding PO status are maintained for their use
  • Proactively identify production and supply chain concerns and challenges. Communicate such findings to leadership
  • Support the logistics stage of the production cycle shipments by reviewing and analyzing packing lists to ensure production volumes adhere to American Tall requirements
  • Maintain oversight of delivery timelines and communicating issues and delays to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Act as administrator of our Product Lifecycle Management software (PLM) by overseeing inquiries, troubleshooting, new features and training
  • Set up, manage and monitor PLM extract distribution across different departments as required
  • Actively follow up with vendors and shipping partners to ensure deadlines are being met
  • Communicate with vendors regularly to maintain visibility of production timelines and major milestone achievements through WIP reports
  • Work as a liaison between the merchandising team and overseas vendors to communicate production information and updates
  • Track production timelines and monitor delivery status updates
Experience, Education and Qualifications


  • A relevant post-secondary education preferred
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience minimum in a production coordination role for a consumer goods, retail, or fashion/apparel company
  • 2 – 4 years’ experience minimum actively working with PLM systems
  • Experience with cross functional teams such as merchandising, warehousing, finance, and 3rd party vendors
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes


  • Strong computer skills are required; including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A natural and analytical problem solver
  • Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong Knowledge of merchandise planning fundamentals
  • Must have a positive, team-player attitude is a must
  • Knowledge of the e-commerce and/or retail space
  • Ability to handle a dynamic work environment with competing priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Consistently exhibit American Tall’s values - innovation, respect, passion, and commitment
  • Strong knowledge and skill with PLM system
  • Ability to interact and work collaboratively cross-functionally and within different verticals
  • Excellent English communication skills – written and oral
