We’re looking for our next Production Support Engineer. Could It Be You?

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Production Support professional that demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of processes, reporting and ETL. Also, Prepared to work in an agile environment.

• Generate Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Financial Statements
• 5+ years of experience in Power BI and SSRS reporting
• Working knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics
• Working knowledge of ETL processing and fixing issues in ETL processes
• Able to work across countries, regions and time zones with a broad range of cultures and technical capability
• 5+ years of experience in MSSQL - Stored procedures and functions
• Assist with technical investigations and impact analysis
• Respond to technical issues, flagged as failures
• Participate in walkthrough reviews of technical specifications, programs and unit test plans
• Perform application support and recovery as documented in the associated Runbook
• Coordinate business partner notification, in the event of delays
• Create new reports in Power BI and SSRS

Production support engineer responsibilities:

Typical day to day activities include the below but now limited to:

• Assist with technical investigations and impact analysis
• SSRS Technical Support
• Power BI Gateway Management
• Power BI dataset/dataflow deployment to production
• Power BI Dataset Failure Investigation
• Provide on-call support
• Support on long running SQL queries
• Respond to technical issues, flagged as failures - reprocessing ETL jobs on MSSQL
• Perform application support and recovery as documented in the associated Runbook
• Coordinate business partner notification, in the event of delays
• Generate Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Financial Statements
• Power BI Technical Support
