Product Manager - Web & Ecommerce Platform

As the Product Manager for the Web platform, you will own the product roadmap for Vention’s transactional website, the user community infrastructure, and private client portals. In this role, you will interface with clients to capture emerging needs, drive respective software development teams and support sales & marketing for successful product launches. Leveraging your product management expertise, you will be uniquely positioned to guide architectural choices and drive effective prioritization of our effort and resources. More specifically, your role will include the following responsibilities

Product management

• Define pricing for monetized products and forecast revenue potential
• Scope and maintain the product roadmap
• Develop sales enablement material and train various go-to market teams (Account Executive, Application Engineers, Customer Success, etc.)
• Conduct benchmarking of competitor's product and pricing
• Conduct client interviews to understand feature opportunities/gap
• Lead preparation for Quarterly Product Review
• Work closely with the marketing team to provide input for product launch campaigns
• Conduct analysis to inform new product specifications and evaluate performance of existing products
• Prepare detailed brief for new software/features, including business logic

Product Ownership

• Work with software team and HR to ensure teams are properly staffed with expertise required to deliver the annual roadmap
• Breakdown product brief for new product/feature in sequenced ticket for efficient execution
• Ensure deadline compliance for each feature/product and measure team performance
• Maintain dev-team happiness by scheduling period of technical debt / bug elimination (or allow some refactoring as part of new feature development)
• Conduct business QA on new products/features to ensure the user experience contribute to elevating the Vention platform
• Prepare and host sprint kick-off, ensuring software team support the scope and can successfully define the "how"
• Organize and prioritize ticket backlog

Qualifications

• Strong analytical tool kit with ability to run complex analysis including regression, T-sample tests, A/B test
• Technical SEO expertise, to optimize web page for SEO discoverability
• 7 years experience in product management for global e-commerce and marketplace platforms,
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with practice in navigation conflicting priorities
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment with quick turnarounds/good time management
• Experience with multi-language and multi-currency transactional capabilities
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Familiar with growth product management, including sign-up and activation conversation optimization, viral loop measurement and amplification
• Strong project management and risk mitigation mindset, with demonstrated ability to build contingency plan and execute them
