Currently, we are seeking a talented and passionate Podcast Episode Editor to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As a Podcast Episode Editor at Neighbourhood Creative, you will play a crucial role in shaping the auditory experience of our clients' podcast content. You will be responsible for editing, enhancing, and refining podcast episodes to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong audio editing skills, a keen ear for detail, and a deep appreciation for storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit podcast episodes for clarity, coherence, and consistency, adhering to the agency's style and branding guidelines.
- Enhance audio quality through noise reduction, leveling, and mastering techniques.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in podcast editing and audio production.
- Create dynamic, short form content & cover art to be used on social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
- Manage multiple podcast projects simultaneously and meet established deadlines.
- Incorporate music, sound effects, and other elements to enhance the overall listening experience.
- Collaborate with the podcast production team to ensure seamless integration of edited episodes.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Proficiency in using audio editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)
- Proven experience in audio editing and podcast production through a trial episode.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of storytelling and narrative structure.
- Knowledge of marketing and branding concepts is a plus.
