We are seeking a creative and experienced Video Editor to join our team at Hush Blankets. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our brand, creating engaging and compelling content that effectively communicates our product benefits and company values. You will work closely with our Marketing and Creative teams to produce video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and advertising campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain an organized archive of video assets, ensuring easy retrieval for future projects
• Assist in creating video guidelines and maintaining brand consistency across all video content
• Select and integrate appropriate music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the overall impact of each video
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to the team
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of video projects
• Apply creative editing techniques to enhance visual storytelling and engage viewers
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Creative teams to conceptualize and produce video content that aligns with our brand identity and marketing goals
• Continuously monitor and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing and production
• Edit and assemble video footage, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality final product

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of video formats, compression techniques, and platform-specific requirements
• A passion for storytelling and a desire to help people improve their lives through better sleep
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a marketing or advertising environment
• Demonstrated ability to tell engaging stories through video editing
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, cap cut, and other industry-standard video editing software
• Keen eye for detail and a high level of creativity
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with color grading and audio mixing techniques
• Experience with motion graphics and animation
• Knowledge of video production equipment and processes
• A portfolio showcasing a variety of video editing styles and projects
