Plant Controller Jobs

We are working with a large manufacturing organization located near Kingston Ontario that is looking for a Plant Controller. The ideal candidate will have their CPA and a minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing.

As the Plant Controller, you will sit at the local management table and be involved with all financial aspects of the site. You will be accountable for maintaining effective management and financial controls, analyzing plant costs and for offering creative solutions and analysis to business concerns. You will work closely with other department managers to provide comprehensive financial management reports/analysis and to provide leading financial support for special projects, business case development, and the capital planning process. You will also manage the preparation of the annual plant budget and cost forecasts. In this role you will report to a separate head office with a strong dotted line to the Plant Manager.

Requirements

You will need to have experience with costing, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, significant financial reporting under IFRS guidelines and significant costing experience. You will have excellent communication skills, both oral & written and strong presentation skills. Experience with SAP is a great asset. Canadian CPA designation or later stages of completing their CPA is mandatory as is experience in manufacturing.
