10+ years of Production and Supply Chain experience, with a minimum of 5 years leadership experience managing a production plant

3-5 years of experience applying the principles of lean manufacturing to a light manufacturing/consumer produced goods operation

Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant area of study or related ASCM certification is considered an asset

Manage and oversee inventory requirements, conducting cost analysis to optimize inventory levels

A college of university degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a similar area of study, or relevant work experience

Integrated Asset and Facilities Management

Valid (TSSA Certified) 1st or 2nd Class Engineering certifications;

Previous experience working in industrial plant operations (energy sector);

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other CMMS technologies;

Strong MS Office skills (Excel), experience with LN ERP a plus

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance is required

Manufacturing experience in metal fabrication and or appliances would be ideal but not essential

Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and to manage a high workload

Ability to analyze and measure specific parts of the P& L and offer improvements to senior leadership

Work with Operations team to ensure accurate BOM costs

Analysis of data, key figures and processes including manufacturing process, inventory management and inventory valuations.

Review production variances (materials & labor) with management and help drive to root cause – in particular help

Review weekly KPI data with management; understand trends and help analyze root causes.

Work with management team to develop a database of cost savings opportunities.

Manage the accounting team working for the Canadian entity.
