The successful candidate will reside in or around the lower mainland or BC. They will be responsible for growing their territory through face-to-face interactions with new and existing customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for offering the best possible customer experience by providing services such as in-person presentations and hands-on training of new and existing products.
This territory covers all of British Columbia.
A competitive salary and bonus compensation package will be offered. This includes a vehicle allowance, company technology (phone, computer), fuel reimbursement and expenses.
Educational Requirements:
Post-secondary education is preferred
Skill Requirements:
The successful candidate should posses the following skills
1. A minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience, using professional selling techniques
2. Will be self-motivated with strong self-management skills
3. Has the ability to work independently, with very strong communication skills
4. Must be well organized, be able to multi-task and will work well under pressure
5. Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills are an asset
6. The successful candidate must be team oriented and comfortable selling in a team environment
Responsibilities & Daily Tasks:
1. Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas by the individual customer, territory and product
2. Provide a expected sales volumes and profits for existing and new products
3. Manage a set territory by:
A. Reviewing existing sales information for challenges and opportunities
B. Understand the existing customer base through a SWOT analysis
C. Present product opportunities to dealers to foster growth
D. Schedule appointments with new and existing customers
E. Develop strong customer relationships to ensure Thermor Ltd. is the supplier of choice
F. Attend trade shows and conferences, as required
4. A few nights a month of overnight travel is to be expected
5. Weekly reporting is required
