Optometric Assistant Jobs

Our well established, multi doctor clinic requires a full-time optometric assistant to join our Optometric Clinic.

The successful candidate must have strong attention to detail, be patient orientated with strong interpersonal skills and a positive enthusiastic attitude having passion for learning and dealing with people. In addition, the applicant should enjoy working in a team while at the same time being able to follow through on tasks consistently and independently.

We are currently expanding and we offer vision therapy so any experience or interest in that area would be a benefit.

Job responsibilities include (but not limited to)

1. -Booking appointments
2. -Managing patient flow
3. -Taking payments
4. -Dispensing
5. -Adjusting and repairing eyewear
6. - Ensuring all rechecks and maintenance visits are scheduled
7. - other administrative duties as required

Hours may include some evenings and weekends with possible rotations.
