We are a collaborative team of professionals with a focus on providing evidence-based, relevant, functional therapy for individuals with communication disorders across the lifespan.
Individually and together, we:

- Are advocates for people living with aphasia, autism and other communication disorders
Elemenoe is currently looking for a passionate, creative, and personable Communicative Disorders Assistant to join our clinical team to conduct in-person 1:1 direct therapy to children.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain clinical documentation and data
- Plan and prepare programming and complete other administrative tasks identified by supervising SLP and management
- Supervise students and volunteers
- Participate in team meetings and clinical rounds
- Deliver one-to-one and/or small group speech and language therapy for children
- Assist with client and caregiver training, workshops, and events
- Maintain knowledge in current evidence-based practices
Skills, Requirements, and Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills and time-management skills
- Takes initiative, works well independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle may be required
- Experience working under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist (new grads welcome to apply)
- Current police check for the vulnerable sector
- Experience working within an interdisciplinary team
- Graduate from an accredited Communicative Disorders Assistant program is an asset
- Comfort using technology and software programs (i.e., Zoom, Word, Excel etc.)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
