Couple & Family Therapist (Msw)

We are currently seeking a full-time (15+ hours/week) Ontario-based Master’s level Registered Social Worker to provide couples and family therapy to adults in the perinatal period and beyond into later stages of parenting. The successful candidate will have post-graduate training in a couples therapy modality (or be working towards such) and clinical experience providing couples therapy. Therapists are hired as independent contractors. Therapists will need to commit to being available at least 3 days/week, and offer a minimum of 15 sessions per week including limited evenings and or weekends.

We are a primarily virtual, Ontario-based therapy group practice serving parents in all stages, as well as their children, youth and teens. We specialize in perinatal care - serving individuals through pre-conception, fertility challenges & loss, pregnancy, postpartum and beyond.

• Client referrals/marketing/client acquisition
• Free EFT Supervision by an EFT Supervisory Candidate if you are working towards EFT Certification.
• Full use of our administrative team (client bookings, managing cancellation list, client billing, reports etc.)

• Monthly individual supervision by a senior perinatal therapist
• Full use of Jane clinical software (online booking/scheduling, electronic forms and documentation, secure video therapy platform)

Qualifications

• 5+ years clinical counselling experience with couples/families.
• Perinatal Mental Health Certification is an asset (Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Trainings)
• Registered in good standing with the OCSWSSW, holding a Master of Social Work degree **Please note we can only hire SOCIAL WORKERS.
• Post graduate training in couples/family therapy is required - Emotionally Focused Therapy and Gottman training are two examples of what we are looking for.
• Passionate about working with the perinatal population; personal lived experience with TTC or parenting is a strong asset
