Free EFT Supervision by an EFT Supervisory Candidate if you are working towards EFT Certification.

5+ years clinical counselling experience with couples/families.

Passionate about working with the perinatal population; personal lived experience with TTC or parenting is a strong asset

Perinatal Mental Health Certification is an asset (Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Trainings)

Full use of our administrative team (client bookings, managing cancellation list, client billing, reports etc.)

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Submit monthly reports to Management on case files, wellness plan progress, and initiatives.

Experience on issues/projects working with vulnerable families or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Obtain and maintain current CPR, Infant CPR, and First Aid Certification.

Manage caseload of clients and their families. Caseload will fluctuate (as needed).

2 years of community-based work experience.

Knowledge of behavioural management strategies;

Provide case management and outreach services to ensure coordination and delivery of services that meet changing needs of clients and families;

Strong skills in client record documentation and experience with client care information systems and Microsoft Office Suite;

University degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education;

Understanding of adult education principles;

Knowledge of applicable legislation including the Day Care Regulations and Child Welfare legislation.

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills;

Manage a caseload of 10 to 15 families providing Functional Family Therapy services.

Two or more years of experience in children and family services

Functional Family Therapy experience preferred;

Exceptionally good interpersonal communication skills

Ability to adapt and individualize program interventions to utilize family strengths and skills.

Skill in handling multiple tasks and meeting multiple deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of theory and practice to a case management process.

Broad knowledge of psychotherapeutic and counseling skills.

Broad knowledge of psychoeducation principles and methods.

Broad knowledge of child and youth developmental theory.

Broad knowledge of psychopharmacology (indications and side-effects).

Broad knowledge of neuropsychiatric conditions and care.

Three (3) years recent, related experience working with children or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Broad knowledge of psychotherapeutic and counselling skills.

Broad knowledge of psychoeducation principles and methods.

Participate in committees, community initiatives, team meetings, continuing education and engages in on going team planning and quality improvement initiatives.

Comprehensive knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of behavioural, social emotional and mental health/psychiatric problems in children and youth.

Broad knowledge of child developmental theory.
