Westwood's residential real estate arm specializes in planning and creating sustainable residential communities in accordance with the real estate industry's most innovative technologies and well-respected methodologies for developing long-lasting, urban communities.

Westwood is looking for an energetic, self-motivated Resident Manager to join our growing team.The position will report to the Property Manager. Duties include:

• Prepare vacant apartments on a timely basis so they are ready for new residents to move in
• Scheduling contractors and service work, in consultation with the property manager, and following up to ensure the task has been completed.
• Rent collection.
• Coordinate maintenance requirements and work orders in an efficient and cost-effective manner, performing duties when able.
• Deal promptly with emergencies and unusual circumstances and provide an update to the property manager in a timely manner.
• Conduct viewings and lease vacant apartments including signing leases.
• Address resident concerns promptly in a respectful and professional manner.
• Other related duties as may be required from time to time.
• General custodian duties and maintain the cleanliness, curb appeal and daily operations of the building.

Your qualifications:

• Able to lift 20KG
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable with email use
• Ability to multi-task and follow up promptly
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organization and problem solving skills
• Individual who can work safely and efficiently with little supervision
• A minimum of five (5) years’ related experience
• Team player with great communication and written skills
