Our 60+ Endocrinologists, many of whom are nationally renowned for their areas of expertise, are supported by an interdisciplinary team of highly qualified Medical Office Administrators, Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, Registered Dietitians, Physician Assistants, Pharmacists, Optometrists, Opticians, Optical Assistants, Chiropodists and Clinical Research Professionals.

Currently, our growing team is looking for a Chiropody Assistant, who can work with us on a permanent, full-time position at our Vaughan clinic.

Responsibilities:

• Project work, contributing to a library of resources such as templates, pamphlets and FAQs
• Conduct Lost to Follow-up calls with patients
• Assist Chiropodist on busy days - includes cleaning the exam rooms and instruments, assisting with medical procedures, dressing changes, and patient education
• Managing billing services
• Promote Chiropody services to patients within LMC clinics
• Monitor and order Chiropody supplies
• Other administrative duties, as required
• Following up with patient inquiries to ensure they are receiving excellent care
• Booking and confirming patient appointments by telephone

Skills and Requirements:

• Advanced MS Office computer skills.
• Medical terminology knowledge would be considered an asset
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Effectively able to communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds by telephone
• 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role
• University or college degree in health services preferred – Kinesiology degree an asset
