Operations Lead (2 Year Contract)

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will support Parts and Accessories Supply Chain, Distribution and Inside Sales functions through the transition from a legacy system to SAP. Assume day-to-day departmental tasks allowing SMEs to allocate necessary time to ensure successful implementation of SAP, while aligning with the annual objectives of the department, and supporting and strengthening the strategic objectives of the organization. This role will also be required to updating existing SOPs, documenting new processes, and creating SOPs as required through the conversion process. Align with other departments to create effective cross-functional business processes, ensuring continuous sales and operational improvements throughout the organization.

This is a 2-year contract position.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Warehouse Manager in administrative duties, special projects, including our third-party warehouses. Including, but not limited to reporting to management on the assigned KPI.
• Additional duties and tasks as assigned.
• Assist Inside Sales Lead in all aspects of daily operations. Including, but not limited to order processing, internal and external inquiries, program administration and reporting.
• Assist Manager in all aspects of the supply chain operations. Including, but not limited to the forecasting, demand planning and cost-efficient purchasing of all parts and accessories. Report on all supply chain KPI to management and ensure that the KPI for fill rate, months of stock and overall inventory amount remain within corporate guidelines.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Years of Experience: 3-5 Years
• Program of Study: Supply Chain or Business
• Degree/Diploma: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
• Very proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerBI
• Knowledge of SAP MM, SCM, EWM modules would be an asset.
• Knowledge of SQL considered an asset.
