We are looking for an Operations and Maintenance Manager with direct experience in railway

management and contractual compliance assurance. The successful candidate will liase with

Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience in a multi-disciplinary environment on major railway projects involving operations and maintenance.

Must have well developed knowledge and experience with mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Electrical experience will be considered beneficial.

Must have 5+ years of direct hands-on experience in mechanical repairs and maintenance with automated equipment.

Experience with maintenance and repair of lift trucks would be beneficial.

Perform scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance and provide maintenance support for the automated storage and retrieval systems.

Respond to emergency situations and support all operations of the building and automations systems.

Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on building and machinery.

Review and manage documentation, contracts, processes, and practices to ensure technical and legal compliance.

Monitor compliance and facilitate interventions to manage risks.

2+ years of experience working in a regulatory compliance role in a fast-paced business setting;

Experienced in reviewing and drafting contracts, policies and procedures;

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to act and support business and regulatory changes;

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Define and maintain roles and responsibilities for all roles in the Maintenance Department.

Manage performance reviews and goal setting based on the development and succession plan.

Manage Maintenance's role in work relations between Maintenance, Reliability, MRO and Operations, Six Sigma and Engineering.

Manage and support a continuous improvement process within the Maintenance department and in collaboration with other departments.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Years of Experience: 3-5 Years

Knowledge of SAP MM, SCM, EWM modules would be an asset.

Knowledge of SQL considered an asset.

Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
