Job Summary

The Operations Associate, Community Operations will primarily be responsible for creating the team’s budget forecasting and workforce planning processes. The person in this role will be tasked with finding ways to further drive efficiencies within our BPOs, with a goal of reducing the BPO cost per ride. They will do this by creating accurate forecasting models to project the correct staffing for the volumes we need to support. As a key contributor on the CommOps team, they will also drive forward automations and process improvements to reduce either the inbound ticket / ride ratio or agent handle time per ticket.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement light-tests to gather feedback, prove/disprove hypothesis
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficiency and cross functional alignment as we build and scale
• Make strategic decisions to prioritize within your functional area; identify and drive the team towards meeting targets
• Assist with planning, forecasting, and the organization of annual budget documentation
• Support a culture of continuous improvement to continually raise the bar of execution
• Be both a tactical and strategic leader on the Comm Ops team
• Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes – looking at both the short and long term of our people and business
• Be a strong project and stakeholder manager with the ability to both plan and execute projects of varying urgency and scope with minimal guidance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Prior ownership of departmental budgeting and operational forecasting
• Strong Excel and data analytics capabilities
• Proven success managing highly ambiguous problems and owning solutions from inception to execution
• 3+ years work experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong Project Management skills with demonstrated ability to influence others and collaborate with cross-functional partners even if their priorities differ
• Experience packaging insights from data analysis into slide output (Google Sheets, Powerpoint) to facilitate executive engagement and decision making

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in business, economics, engineering, or discipline in a quantitative field
• Experience at a high growth startup a plus
• Knowledge of SQL and Tableau
