Our client is a Canadian and female-founded retailer specializing in hair extensions, hair care products, skin care products and related accessories. With 9 retail locations across (8 in Ontario and one in Western Canada) and a strong online community, this company is on the mission to provide a strong connection between women and beauty at an affordable price for clients across the country. They seek an innovative Marketing Manager to lead the strategic planning for all marketing efforts, including digital marketing across the company. The Marketing Manager s main goal is to plan, execute and deliver results for marketing programs in line with the brand’s marketing objectives to increase sales across Canada. In this role, you will be required to communicate the brand message throughout all forms of media, ensuring consistency while overseeing strategic campaigns for customers, retail, digital media and PR with reporting on the return on investment (ROI). DESCRIPTION
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Marketing Manager, will be planning and executing enticing sales and promotions that will drive customers to shop with their brand. Your main responsibilities will also include creating and executing a product strategy for each tier of items, along with creating and tracking email, social media and advertising campaigns. To ensure customers are consistently aware and engaged with the brand, this position will also be responsible for developing content which will contribute to increased brand loyalty, buyer intent, and overall keep our brand top of mind. As the Marketing Manager, you will define and create a seamless user experience that is fluid across multiple platforms and media (in-store/online, various social media platforms, etc) and oversee coordination to fulfill orders in an accurate and timely manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing marketing strategies for removal of obsolete quantities, setting prices for goods, creating display designs, and establishing discounts or coupons
REQUIREMENTS
- Previously executed promotions for brick and mortar
- An individual with strong team building and leadership capabilities who fosters a team-driven problem-solving environment, and inspires team members to take the initiative toward meeting customers needs
- A strategic thinker with a highly influential character who delivers an effective brand message across multiple channels
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience leading a marketing team in a company with retail (brick and mortar) and e-commerce business
- Customer-centric approach, someone with a focus on boosting customer satisfaction levels and enhancing customer loyalty
- Willingness to travel to attend shows & conferences in North America (twice a year)
- Experience structuring and delegating funds from the department's budget in a way that maximizes brand growth and ROI
- This is a 40 hours per week work opportunity with exceptions during peak seasons or events where the Marketing Manager may be required to work irregular hours
- Retail & SaaS platform experience is preferred
- May be asked to work off-site (quarterly store visits)
- 3-7 years of similar or related experience in Health and Beauty industries (preferred) • Experience with SEO, Pay-per-Click, Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, Email Marketing, Mobile Marketing, Marketing Analytics and Affiliate Marketing
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing or a related field from a recognized institution Additional requirements
