OVERVIEW
Reports to: President and Business Development Manager
We are currently looking for a driven and passionate Retail Associate who is interested in leading our retail department at Robyn’s Cookies. This individual will be responsible for managing our onsite retail, online retail, and offsite retail opportunities. This role will require a detailed focus on inventory and an in-depth knowledge of our retail category. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and creative, a relationship builder and a savvy sales driver with the determination to provide high quality products and an exceptional customer service experience. You will spearhead store initiatives to promote products and build loyalty, foster community relationships, and champion the brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all activities necessary to the efficient operation of the store including:
·Provide prompt and courteous service to customers to maximize sales and customer service.
·Ensure retail areas, onsite and offsite, are merchandised correctly; conduct regular audits to ensure the store is presentable and can function optimally.
·Maintain and replenish inventory, including, ordering, product delivery, etc. and staying in communication with the bakery team regarding the store’s specific needs.
·Accountable for P&L, managing controllable costs to keep the store profitable. Help to develop and implement store action plans to meet and exceed financial targets.
·Balance sales, print and record receipts as well as track revenue daily.
·Maintain website inventory and work closely with our logistics team for order fulfilment.
·Verify invoices against packaging slips and track all expenditures.Pack and label all orders for pick up or delivery.
·In combination with team, create annual and quarterly strategic plans to support growth of the business.
·Effectively communicate with the team, sharing sales metrics and tactics, product knowledge, motivation and championing, and updates to policies and procedures.
·Support Marketing with coordination of retail opportunities, markets and tradeshows, offsite events, product launches and retail programs like our holiday market.
·Promote total customer service in a friendly way and make sure all customer complaints are addressed and managed professionally.

REQUIREMENTS:
·Minimum 2 + years in retail sales, customer service and hospitality an asset
·Proven excellent customer service skills.
·Excellent time management and prioritizing skills
·Office administration skills including high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
·Proficient in Google Suite, QuickBooks and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator an asset
·Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
·Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
·Excellent vendor management skills
·Extremely proactive, with an energetic and professional demeanor
·Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
·Team player
·Confident, dedicated and punctual
