Job Duties
  • Full-cycle Bookkeeping for the firm
  • Data input of simple personal tax returns and support schedules
  • Answering client phone calls and emails. Taking messages and responding to voicemail
  • Excellent Written and Oral Communication skills
  • Managing filing due dates and lists in QuickBooks
  • Bookkeeping for 7 and 10 clients and 50 personal tax returns
  • Booking client meetings, managing partner calendars and time sheets
  • Preparation of corporate and personal tax packages for clients
  • Ad-hoc projects and other related duties
  • Invoicing clients and taking payments
  • Sorting and organizing and tracking client paperwork incoming and outgoing
  • Onboard new clients or company files
  • Office file management
  • Ordering office supplies and managing various vendor accounts
  • Recording and filing vendor bills and receipts
  • Liase with CRA regarding various inquiries
Requirements
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Strong familiarity with Administrative Assistance
  • 2+ years of related experience- Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
  • Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
  • Outstanding analytical, quantitative and social skills
  • Dynamic accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
  • Foundational knowledge in customer invoices
  • Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping
  • Strong organization skills
