Job Description
Job description- Clinic Manager

Lake Country Animal Hospital is looking for a Manager to join our already fantastic team! We are saying farewell to our current manager and longtime employee as she is flying away to a new career (in the travel industry – LOL). Our assistant manager, Betty, says she will be interviewing candidates on their chin scratches, cuddling skills and willingness to share snacks. She also noted that they must have a love for cats and the ability to work while she is sitting on the keyboard.

Our area is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream location with lakes, hiking/biking trails and ski hills close by! We are a privately owned, small animal clinic located just 10 minutes north of Orillia with Lake Couchiching right at the end of the street.

We are a hardworking, fun-loving team dedicated to providing tailored quality care and compassionate client service to new and long-term clientele. Our professional team members believe in going the extra step to ensure our clients receive clear communication and feel that they are a part of the decision-making process.

Our ideal candidate would have previous management experience, be an experienced RVT or have significant experience in veterinary medicine. Excellent leadership and customer service skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are a must in this fast-paced role.

You will provide onsite leadership and guidance to the team with the benefit of industry resources. Our flexible wage & compensation package includes items such as health and dental benefits, paid OAVT Dues, CE allowance, pet care benefits, employee discount program and more.

We maintain an appreciative, respectful, and collaborative environment to help enrich, engage, and encourage growth of our valuable team members. We value team building through weekly team roundtable meetings, continuing education and social outings.

Take pride in your chosen career knowing that we will utilize all the amazing skills you worked so hard to perfect. Working in our bright and spacious facility as a valued member of our team will make your days brighter too!

If you want to enjoy your time at work don’t delay! Forward your resume and cover letter to [email protected] today!
