Materials Manager - Brampton, On

One of our clients in Brampton, ON is looking for a Materials Manager for their facility.

Shift - Days

Your Responsibilities

• Effectively address shipment delays from suppliers.
• Oversee production scheduling and work closely with Production Manager to achieve or exceed daily production targets.
• Manage suppliers, vendors, and outside processors.
• Create and establish FIFO procedures
• Complete forecast and create capacity planning with Operations Team.
• Create and maintain supplier performance metrics.
• Participate in APQP events and new business meetings with cross functional teams.
• Establish and maintain KPI's and targets to meet company goals to archive business targets.
• Maintain Budget and achieve annual target.
• Oversee the functions of materials, inventory, logistics and supply chain operations at the Brampton facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years managerial experience in a similar role, in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, e.g., Materials, Supply Chain Management and /or equivalent work-related experience.
• Proficient in MS office and ERP systems.
