Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, e.g., Materials, Supply Chain Management and /or equivalent work-related experience.

Minimum 5 years managerial experience in a similar role, in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Industrial manufacturing industry experience is required

7+ years' of supply chain experience

Supply Chain or Material Planning education/designation is a strong asset

Quality Management of materials testing laboratory, including preparation for CCIL audits and certifications and routine calibrations and equipment maintenance.

Ability to act as a Local Radiation Safety Officer and manage CCIL Certification audits.

Experience performing field reviews of civil construction projects would be an asset

5-7 years’ of relevant role experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain Management in a manufacturing environment.

College or University degree in mechanical/industrial engineering, management or business administration

Manage the processing of purchase orders, addressing overdue orders with prompt follow-up with the team

Minimum 5 years functional experience in materials and inventory management.

Solid experience in evaluating and analyzing risks associated with material planning and inventory management; hands-on experience in managing customer demand variations.

Independent responsibility for material and logistics planning, inventory planning, release management, on-hand inventory accuracy, forecasting and replenishment, freight optimization.

Lead continuous improvement plans as it relates to materials planning, freight management, space optimization and timely customer order fulfilment.

Provide subject matter expertise to materials planning team as it relates to ERP and inventory management best practices.

Minimum of five years experience in construction QA/QC testing and inspection
