Job Description
Tayco is seeking an ambitious Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team to help us reach a new vision. The Marketing Coordinator, Content Creation under the direction of the Marketing Manager is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and execution of all Tayco’s content strategies. The Marketing Coordinator will write promotional copy for email drip campaigns, online articles, brochures and more and will also manage Tayco’s social media channels including content creation and customer engagement.


The Marketing Coordinator, Content Creation is a unique position, which allows the content creator to share their skills in copy writing and social media management. The successful candidate will have the ability to expand and grow the role in additional areas through multiple learning opportunities including working with the Marketing Manager on developing content for training and collaborating with Dealers to ensure they are receiving strategic content from Tayco.


Responsibilities:


  • Proving administrative support as required.
  • Ensure all products, services, and other offerings conform to brand identity; conduct ongoing brand management.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to coordinate the case studies and testimonials for Tayco to use in marketing and sales presentations.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the Marketing Team to develop strategies and create content to enhance online and social media presence for Tayco
  • Ensuring the Toronto showroom is highlighting Tayco’s product and providing a welcoming experience for the Customer.
  • Develop email marketing campaigns that include tailored messages and subject lines. Work seamlessly with the Marketing Coordinator, Digital and Web to develop layouts and graphics.
  • Work with the Marketing specialists, Digital and web to monitor and analyze social media platforms to gather data and insights regarding audience engagement, sentiment, and campaign performance.
  • Assist with the reputation management of Tayco; monitor the internet for positive and negative comments, our brand and products/services. Highlight and bring attention to positive comments/information and troubleshoot and resolve negative information/comments.
  • Actively participate and engage in the Social Committee activities and initiatives.
  • Coordinating marketing and communication content including but not limited to internal/external communication, flyers, presentations, rep newsletter.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Staying up-to-date with current market trends and consumer preferences. This includes assisting in conducting research, analyzing industry reports, monitoring competitor activities, and identifying emerging trends that could impact marketing strategies.
  • Copywrite news articles including but not limited to employee profile pieces, interest articles and white pages. Working with the Communications Specialist, Digital to launch these on the website and promote on social media.
  • Engage with Tayco’s social media audience and develop content to generate new leads and website visits.
  • Own Tayco’s social media content calendar. Create digital materials and copy to be utilized in social media campaigns including images, reels, and video content.
  • Acting as a support to the marketing and sales teams at special events and tradeshows, as required.


Requirements


  • Proven track record in creating and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a group setting.
  • Over 1 year of work experience, ideally in B2B marketing; including direct involvement in marketing strategies, corporate communications, original copywriting and editing and some public relations.
  • Excellent understanding and familiarity with brand building and brand management.
  • Direct experience with graphic design, the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, CRM, CMS systems and other marketing-related software tools.
  • Ability to be highly effective at prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • University degree or equivalent in marketing, advertising, sales, or business administration, or equivalent.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Willingness to travel if required.
  • Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly and to ensure they are clearly communicated to an audience.
  • Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts.
  • Work well with others, and take direction and criticism in a positive manner.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
