Job Description

We’re looking for a Marketing Content Coordinator who will play a key role in ownership of Email and Organic Social Content for Hangar9. This includes everything from planning, to design and execution in line with our current brand and marketing strategy. You will work closely with our digital and in-store teams to build a cohesive brand voice and drive results in online conversions and drive in-store foot traffic. Your day-to-day will be focused on marketing content creation for our organic media channels from start to finish including communicating with external vendors to collect marketing assets, planning of the marketing calendar, and designing all marketing materials from email and social media to in-store print materials.


In this role your will be responsible for:

CONTENT SOURCING & PLANNING

  • Assist in planning of monthly content calendar across all channels
  • Work closely with CMO, Operations Manager and Sales Manager to ensure alignment of store and digital marketing strategies
  • Assist in content creation and planning of seasonal photoshoots
  • Communicate and organize all vendor editorial assets for internal marketing use

CONTENT CREATION

Email

  • Ensure high quality and error free implementation, testing and QA of email campaigns.
  • Build out and design all email campaign emails according to the content calendar to increase engagement through a solid understanding of the customer journey

Social

  • Build proactive campaigns by creating original designs or videos that are on brand and relevant to audiences
  • Explore new social-media features, improvements, and platforms, with a focus on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn and secondarily supporting creation on Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok
  • Manage flow, plan shot lists and shoot content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Youtube)
  • Implement the overall social-media communications strategy, including brand, voice and tone.

Website

  • Create and update website banners, collection graphics and homepage heroes on a weekly basis
  • Work with Sales Managers to merchandise and market curated online collections

Store/Events

  • Equip store teams with all marketing and selling materials (linesheets, lookbooks, images etc) ahead of events.
  • Communicate with 3rd party marketing outlets to supply with all necessary collateral and assets
  • Liaise with external vendors for content and assets to assist with event marketing in a timely manner
  • Update website and booking software with events, staff and store schedules
  • Create in-store marketing materials including posters, banners, handouts
  • Coordinate in-store installations and print materials with print shops


What you Bring to the Team:

  • Strong attention to detail in management and execution to project timeline and task accountability.
  • Excellent cross-team communication and organizational skills are a requirement for the role
  • 1 - 2 years of graphic design and/or content creation experience. Experience with luxury and/or fashion brands, is considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of the luxury fashion and lifestyle industries as it relates to digital and social media
  • Knowledge of Adobe creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator) is a must.
  • Self-starter, detail and task oriented, highly organized, with a customer and results oriented attitude
  • Experience with Klaviyo and Shopify Platforms make an ideal candidate for this position
