Content And Marketing Specialist

At Old Mill Toronto Hospitality Inc. (OMT), the Content and Marketing Specialist is responsible for the planning, writing and execution of digital and print content for OMT Hospitality Inc.

OMT is looking to hire an experienced and reliable Content and Marketing Specialist. As our Content and Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for the upkeep of our social media accounts, our website, printed content and all other digital or print customer-facing assets. A successful candidate will have excellent written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. They will thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment while creating and implementing strategy to grow our online and print presence.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Developing and implementing digital media, social media and print media marketing strategies.

· Representing OMT with all communication platforms digitally, socially, print and other, across all industry segments.

· Attending / documenting holiday events and special occasion events including entertainment and Afternoon Tea with the purpose of sharing content digitally and in print.

· Ensuring that all branded content adheres to OMT standards of professional conduct

· Ensuring consistent appearance amongst digital assets, print assets and media.

· Advising on best practices and analyzing digital data to develop further marketing strategies.

· Establishing and promoting OMT by building relationships with other digital and print marketing entities and vendors (current and future)

DESCRIPTION OF DAILY ROLE:

· Developing, creating and implementing content across all OMT social platforms, newsletters, print media, website and other marketing platforms.

· Liaising with OMT constituents to create content for Wedding, Social, Catering, Dining facilities, Kitchen, Human Resources and Executive Management departments at OMT.

· Overseeing, including creation of Marketing materials for Social, Wedding, Dining Room and Corporate packages.

· Developing informative press releases to targeted lists highlighting all activities and promotions.

· Assisting with managing the maintenance of the OMT website and advising on changes to maximize user visits with effective SEO promotions.

· Developing and implementing direct email marketing strategies, including weekly Constant Contact email blasts and other special event or holiday specific email blasts.

· Creating recommendations and responding to all reviews both negative and positive on all social media platforms

· Assisting in identifying vendors that will introduce talent to customers and guests.

· Promoting OMT as a location for films and TV

· Assisting in planning and organizing all Holiday/special occasion events and necessary decorations (ex, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Mother & Father’s Day, Easter, Christmas etc).

· Maintaining up to date and current photos of menu and drinks for dining room, banquets and external displays.

· Assisting in the design and printing of Dining Room menus (Food and Drink).

· Assisting with the branding and marketing of our annual wedding show.

· Building relationships with vendors to promote OMT on Social Media.

· Attending and contributing to sales/marketing strategy meetings.

· Meeting professional image and hygiene standards as set out by OMT Hospitality Inc.

· Performing all other duties assigned or requested by Management.
