INTRODUCTION:


We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Product Analyst. This position will be instrumental in shaping our core Product and Data metrics. Collaborating with Marketing, Growth, and Product teams to dissect product performance and user behavior. This entails setting vital metrics, crafting dashboards, analyzing data, and developing techniques for improved insights into adoption, conversion, engagement, and retention.


The Product Analyst will enrich Product and company awareness of trends and anomalies, pivotal for steering product strategy and impactful decision-making. Deep comprehension of SaaS and the role of the product in customer acquisition, activation, and retention is vital. Join us to harness the power of data, driving our product-led growth journey!


What You’ll Do


  • Interpret data from various sources, highlighting trends, potential areas of growth, and relevant caveats for descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive data projects
  • Embrace in an iterative mindset, focused on delivering improvements and value at high velocity
  • Perform analysis and develop analytical techniques to deepen understanding of adoption, conversion, engagement, and retention.
  • Setup behavior and marketing analytics tracking in our web/app.
  • Monitoring metrics in third-party services
  • Educate the team about interesting trends, insights, and anomalies that represent opportunities to improve our products and grow the business
  • Analyzing data, identifying areas for growth, and drawing conclusions
  • Collaborate with the team to plan, execute and evaluate A/B tests that enhance the user experience and drive more conversion and/or revenue.
  • Creating scenarios and predicting future outcomes
  • Serve as the primary owner for product metrics, analysis, and insights
  • Formulating and testing hypotheses, conducting A/B tests
  • Partner with the Product, Marketing and CRO Growth teams to establish key metrics and dashboards to measure product usage and performance.
  • Creating technical tasks and managing tasks with other departments in order to enrich our database with data from third-party services or internal microservices


What You’ll Need


  • Experience with RDMS and data pipelines (MySQL, Redshift, Snowflake, Segment, Athena) is an asset
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with SQL
  • Data Science or Data Analytics Certification and/or Reforge program preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data analysis
  • Minimum 1 year of experience focused on SaaS product analysis including usage, retention, churn, monetization, and segmentation
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in marketing, communications, media, publishing, or a related field
  • Degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field of study preferred


AND IT’S GREAT TO HAVE


  • Practical experience writing complex SQL queries and optimizing them;
  • Experience working with data systems and tools (such as Microsoft Excel, Mixpanel. Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience with Marketing, 3rd Party, and revenue tools (Hubspot, Intercom, Recurly, Zapier)
  • Experience with Google Analytics/Appsflyer/Google Tag Manager/Firebase;
  • Experience working with relational databases, experience with Big Query;
  • General understanding of web/app analytics processes, understanding of tracking web/app tracking, understanding of marketing data collection;
  • Knowledge of basic mathematical statistics and data analysis methods;
  • Highly collaborative, analytical, and a strong sense of ownership
  • Experience with A/B testing;
