Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our company as a Manager, Technical Services. As the Manager, Technical Services you will be responsible for overseeing a team of professionals and ensuring delivery of product services and application services to our clients. Your role will involve strategic planning, team management, customer engagement, and continuous improvement of service delivery processes.


Responsibilities


Team Leadership:


  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages innovation and growth.
  • Set clear objectives, provide guidance, and ensure the team's performance meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of product and application services professionals.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to product and application services.


Service Delivery Management


  • Provide insight to the rest of the business.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the effective and timely delivery of product and application services.
  • Oversee the end-to-end service delivery process, from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support.
  • Monitor service level expectations and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure client satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality of service delivery.


Customer Engagement


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales and project management, to ensure seamless delivery of services and alignment with client objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.


Required Education, Experiences & Skills


  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to drive process improvements and overcome challenges
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada and travel to the United States
  • Travel required at 20% (1 day a week visiting a customer)
  • Strong customer relationship management and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Technical aptitude around refrigeration systems, electronics, and controls (C.E.T., Licensed Ref./ A/C Mechanic/Apprentice or similar related Industry Experience with a Ref/AC/ OEM or Wholesale Supplier
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team


Preferred Education, Experiences & Skills


  • Bilingual (French/English)
  • Proven experience in managing product and application services teams, preferably in a technology-driven organization.
  • Project management experience
