Manager, Investment Operations Jobs

Our client is looking for an Investment Operations Manager who is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of investment-related activities, and oversees the trade settlements, trade confirmations, middle office operations, and various asset servicing activities to make sure everything is accurate and timely.

This role includes both the managerial and administrative functions; responsible for managing the workflow for the team, while also performing the same functions as the team. The Manager reports to and works closely with the Chief Operating Officer to minimize reputational risk, and to implement risk and compliance mitigation strategies and programs, regulatory monitoring and the execution of exceptional client onboarding and ongoing client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Continually analyze operating results and costs to maximize ability to meet service level targets and realize operating efficiencies
• Ensures investment-related activities are executed properly and provide exceptional reporting to stakeholders
• Leadership and Team Development
• Supervises and leads the delivery of client service and administration
• Client management
• Executes on effective management of compliance and regulatory oversight
• Develop and execute the Operations business plan collaborating closely with COO
• Continually analyze operating results and costs to maximize ability to meet service level targets and realize operating efficiencies

Qualifications:

• 8-10 years operations management experience within the wealth management industry
• University Degree (Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance) or equivalent related experience
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course
