About The Role
The Manager, Digital Educator will support the Senior Manager, Guest Support Innovation in driving the long-term strategy and daily business of the Digital Educator team. The Manager, Digital Educator will directly oversee the Operations Managers in the day-to-day operations and initiatives that aid the front-line team of Digital Educators. They will also be responsible for creating and maintaining cross-functional partnerships including People & Culture, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Management, Insights & Analytics, Product, and Learning & Leadership. They are responsible for both the long-term vision and strategy, as well as the day-to-day business operations and performance of the Digital Educator team and program.
Key Responsibilities
  • Acts as the business lead for the department: interfaces with cross-functional partners, secures required resourcing, and gains alignment on cross-department processes.
  • Communicates effectively with both senior leadership and Educators, partners seamlessly with Guest Support teams across the organization
  • Sets and reviews department KPIs and provides consistent coaching and feedback to hold team accountable to results.
  • Maintains and adapts the Digital Educator vision, strategy, and priorities in alignment with Guest Support organization objectives.
  • Successfully leads recruiting + training of a diverse team and maintains strong pipeline throughout the year
  • Informs bonus metrics and strategy for hourly roles within the Digital Educator program, and is responsible for leadership development of Operations Managers and Team Leads.
  • Collaborates with Guest Support leaders to create long-term strategies, annual operating plans, and financial cases.
  • Leads and coaches through the company vision, mission and core values; instilling the culture in all aspects of their role.
  • Partners closely with Guest Support Product and Technology teams, Learning and Leadership, I&A, WFM, and Operations to ensure the Digital Educator team has the tools they need to deliver on their revenue goals.
Qualifications
  • Sales team design and management in a digital execution is highly valuable
  • You are agile and understand that this is a start-up like environment
  • You are comfortable working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Post-secondary degree required
  • Experience with performance reporting and sales forecasting required
  • Experience in digital service technical design is an asset
  • 2-5 years of experience in digital sales experience
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other customer experience management platforms is an asset
  • Experience working with a variety of cross-functional teams
