Maintenance Millwright Jobs

We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the poultry industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Maintenance Millwright to their team. Responsibilities include:

1) Install, maintain and repair all mechanical and electrical systems and all machinery at the plant

2) Provide support to production in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical breakdowns

3) Comply with all necessary manufacturing codes, regulations and standards

4) Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration activities

5) Maintain an updated record of preventive maintenance

6) Identify opportunities to continuously improve maintenance operations

7) Promote health and safety in the workplace

8) Complete maintenance reports and logs, as required

9) Ensure all production equipment is serviced, as required

10) Monitor and adjust equipment to lower utility costs

11) Enforce established safety, health, contamination and housekeeping policies and procedures in order to minimize staff injuries, lost production time, damage, and contamination of product

12) Track building and equipment repairs

13) Ensure that work area is clean of debris and hazards at all times and check work area for such hazards upon arrival and when departing each area of work

14) Work in a safe manner in accordance with legislated and company health and safety standards

15) Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Requirements

1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

2) Recent experience in the poultry industry is strongly preferred

3) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in maintenance
