Adecco Engineering & Technology Recruitment is currently searching for an Industrial Millwright for our client, a leader in their manufacturing sector, to support their manufacturing facility in Woodstock, Ontario. Overall responsibility for this role is to support manufacturing within the allowed timeframe, while ensuring safety and quality. QUALIFICATIONS - Industrial Millwright

• Current valid driver's license
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to all levels of team members and management
• Experience with rigging and hoisting and fall arrest
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision
• Forklift certified operation, and arial platform certified
• Ability to work weekends and overtime when requested
• Must have own tools
• Understanding of computer systems for manufacturing and maintenance
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• 2+ years' work experience in a manufacturing facility as an Industrial Millwright
• Certified millwright (License 433A required)

RESPONSIBILITIES - Industrial Millwright

• Work within the established budget as it pertains to equipment installation and maintenance.
• Building maintenance required (HVAC), Doors (overhead), fire systems, security system
• Crane troubleshooting, PMs, repairs
• Maintain and inspect mechanical equipment.
• Ensure proper records and checks are completed and maintained.
• Welding, fitting, fabricating, design and build
• Identify mechanical needs and plan installation of mechanical equipment in accordance with all regulations.
• Provide advice and guidance in developmental work when changes or additions are made to mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Ability to work with third party contractors at plant
• Identify mechanical problems, systematically isolate and make recommendations to team to correct problem or to obtain optimal performance of equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and code specifications to determine layout of mechanical equipment installations.
