Job Description
TalentWorld is currently seeking a Millwright for our client just outside of the Barrie Area.


The Millwright is responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and servicing of mechanical equipment to support the company's production needs.


Millwright Responsibilities


  • Obtain the necessary equipment, tools, and parts required to do the job through various means
  • Work with other departments in the troubleshooting of heavy equipment
  • Receive instructions relative to priority needs and requirements
  • Evaluate jobs to be done in relation to tools required and the extent of materials needed
  • Communicate fabricated part requirements to engineering and toolroom using basic sketches


Millwright Qualifications


  • Ability to read detailed machine blueprints
  • Certified Millwright with 433A license
  • Knowledge of welding principles is an asset
