Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright Or Electrician

Our client in Etobicoke, ON is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright or Electrician for their service.

Shift: Night

Responsibilities

• The candidate shall ensure shop and work area are kept in clean condition to meet SQF and GMP standards.
• They should be able to transfer equipment to the applicable site for maintenance to avoid contamination or safety hazards.
• The candidate should be able to perform assigned PMs and planned work on equipment in a safe and timely manner.
• The candidate should be familiar with repair and complete preventative maintenance on high-speed processing and packaging equipment, conveyors, and printing presses.

Qualifications

• The candidate must be a qualified maintenance mechanic with proven capability to troubleshoot and repair paper printing and packaging machinery.

Skills & Experience

• The candidate must be able to demonstrate capability to effectively use shop equipment for fabrications (i.e., welder, lathe, mill, drill press )
• The candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills; some computer skills; able to pass a mechanical aptitude test; able to work very well in a team environment or independently; able to determine where your assistance is required.
