Maintenance Technician (Electrician Or Millwright)

Our client in Ajax, ON is looking for Maintenance Technician (Electrician OR Millwright) for their facility.

Shift - Days/Afternoon Rotation

Responsiiblities

• Proficient in performing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical tasks on CNC machines and other production equipment to ensure timely delivery to both internal and external customers.
• Complete shift reports to effectively communicate with maintenance technicians, staff, and management.
• Keep logs of all maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Capable of troubleshooting issues by referring to blueprints, schematics, and other relevant sources as needed.
• Able to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to carry out required maintenance and servicing.
• Skilled in utilizing precision measurement instruments such as dial gauge indicators, precision squares, and precision level instruments.
• Adhere to maintenance schedules as outlined to keep machines in optimal working condition.
• Skilled in metal fabrication techniques.
• Diligently perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and other production equipment.
• Operate in accordance with SLS and/or Government HS&E regulations for safe and compliant operations.
• Proficient in diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, conducting tests, and making necessary adjustments.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work areas, adhering to company's 5S rules.

Qualifications & Experience

• The candidate should 433A industrial millwright or/and 442A industrial electrician trade certificate.
• The candidate shall hold Minimum 3- 5 years' experience with CNC machines as a Maintenance Technician.
• The candidate should be graduate from technical college with Maintenance technician certification or equivalent.
