Millwright Technician Jobs

Experience in MIG/TIG/ARC welding is essential. TSSA pressure welding certification would be an asset.

Manage maintenance systems, including associated administration.

A valid Ontario and Inter-provincial Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Journeyman Certificate with 10+ years post Journeyman experience.

Experience in CNC machining (using lathes/mills), rigging, mechanical seal repair/replacement, and pipe fitting.

Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Complete shift reports to effectively communicate with maintenance technicians, staff, and management.

Keep logs of all maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Skilled in utilizing precision measurement instruments such as dial gauge indicators, precision squares, and precision level instruments.

Skilled in metal fabrication techniques.

The candidate shall hold Minimum 3- 5 years' experience with CNC machines as a Maintenance Technician.

The candidate should be graduate from technical college with Maintenance technician certification or equivalent.

Comply with the designated responsibilities related to effective environmental management in accordance with MSM’s Environmental Management System (EMS)

Knowledge and experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics

2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in the automotive industry as a Millwright

Certificate of Qualification in 433A is an asset

5 years of previous experience maintaining machines and repairing equipment.

Previous CNC machine experience, basic robotics, PLC’s and a broad understanding of machine repair is required.

Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics and general electrical controls.

Provide maintenance support to plant facility with CNC machines, robotics and PLC’s

Work to tight deadlines where machines are down as well as supporting preventative maintenance programs in a high tolerance environment.

Troubleshoot problems and work with machine suppliers and technicians to ensure production is maintained.

Previous Food Manufacturing Experience – An Asset

Electrical Knowledge – An Asset

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a high speed manufacturing environment (Food manufacturing is highly preferred)

Above average problem solving skills

Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs

Will be responsible for performing daily housekeeping responsibilities

3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing facility as a maintenance mechanic millwright, industrial millwright, maintenance millwright, millwright mechanic, etc.

Diverse experience in welding (tig/arc), fabricating, troubleshooting, repair, rebuilding, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical work, and general facility maintenance.

Reads and interprets drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations. (knowledge required)

Hands-on knowledge of pumps, conveyors, agitators, gearboxes, meat grinders, and compressors.

A safety-mindset is a requirement

Hourly rate range is $30.74 to $38.07, depending on your level of experience

Successful candidate will do general maintenance work to install, maintain and repair structures, machinery, heating and pumping systems.

Work with Operations and Engineering to troubleshoot problems and optimize efficiency for production equipment.

Will also maintain maintenance records in SAP platform.

High School Diploma or equivalent, plus provincial Millwright License and several years working in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Millwright License or have previous experience finishing the 4th year.
