Salary: $40.00-$45.00/hour


We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician for a busy food manufacturing company in the Etobicoke area. The ideal candidate is fully certified, and flexible with 8 or 12 hour shifts.


Monday-Friday Day OR Night Shift (Straight Shift)


**This role is transitioning to 12 hour straight days and straight nights shifts in 2024**


$40-$45/hour (depending on experience)

Job Details


  • Repair and capture detailed root cause and countermeasures of breakdowns and communicate effectively to management and peers
  • Ensures effective and timely on-floor support to the maintenance department members, including regular, off-shift and weekend coverage as required
  • Able to troubleshoot all electronics, electrical issues including PLC related issues
  • Assist in the on-going improvement of work order system
  • Support the effort to develop and document maintenance procedures, one point lesson and implement a competency-based training program.
  • Works as a team member on small and large technical project
  • Perform all planned maintenance (Preventive & Predictive) assigned in a timely manner and use Computerized Maintenance Management System to log in all planned, reactive and emergency activities


Requirements


  • Must have 442A Certification or 4th Year Apprentice.
  • Food manufacturing experience is an asset
  • Must have minimum 3+ Years of Maintenance Electrician experience, specifically with hands on experience
