Maintenance Millwright Jobs

Arch Staffing and Consulting has partnered with a state of the art manufacturing company in the food packaging industry, based in Summerstown, Ontario, in their search for a Maintenance Millwright.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all the machines in the plant. You will work as a part of the Maintenance Department in the continual and efficient operation of all the production machines. This is a permanent role based on successfully completing their 3-month probationary period.
Shift Information & Compensation

• $33.27 per hour
• Shifts rotate every 2 weeks between Day Shifts and Evening Shifts
• No weekends! Monday to Friday work week

What a typical day may look like for you:

• Troubleshoot the machine
• Assist in the implementation of regularly scheduled maintenance
• Promote a safe work environment
• Be available for educational courses that benefit job description and performance
• Cover other shifts in the plant where needed

What you will require to be successful in this role:

• MUST have valid drivers license and vehicle - no transit system
• Work independently
• Strong communication skills
• 1 - 2 years direct experience in this role working in a manufacturing plant
• Hold valid Millwright License
• Must be able to read blueprints
• MUST have own tools
• Plastic injection moldings experience is considered an asset
• Minimum 1 year experience welding non-ferrous material (aluminum)
• Must be compliant with all aspects of GMP, food safety and quality initiatives
