Millwright – H&S Heat Treating

H&S Heat Treating, was founded in the 1960’s as a small commercial heat treating operation in Welland Ontario. In a few short years H&S outgrew its Welland facility and commenced relocation to Port Robinson, which is now the site of our main operations.

H&S has grown with the customers it served and in some cases took over their “in-house” heat treating requirements completely.

H&S has a long-standing history of high quality as a TS/ISO Quality Management Company.

Type: Full Time Day Shift- Union Environment

Hours: 40 hours a week, Optional overtime

Wage: $33.00 per hour

Responsibilities/Requirements

• Experience working on heat treat equipment would be an asset but is not required
• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures such as oiling and greasing, and air filter changes on blower motors
• Assist in troubleshooting and then repairing mechanical equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, drives, bearings and gears
• Work within a multi-skilled environment to maintain the plant’s machinery and equipment, while improving processes
• Assist other maintenance team members where applicable
• Ensuring that adequate controls and safety measures are functional

Essential Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in industry
• Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and working conditions
• Strong problem-solving skills related to troubleshooting equipment issues, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Leadership skills
