Are you a motivated individual with a passion for working with machinery and supporting industrial operations? If you are eager to learn and assist skilled Millwrights while contributing to the metal recycling industry, this role is perfect for you! Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while working alongside experienced Millwrights
• Clean and remove any debris from belts to ensure maximum efficiency
• Safely handle tools, equipment, and materials
• Assist Millwrights in the maintenance, repair, and installation of industrial equipment used in metal recycling processes
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace
• Assist with the disassembly and assembly of components during repair tasks
• Participate in equipment inspections and learn to identify mechanical issues
• Support Millwrights in conducting routine maintenance and servicing of machinery

Qualifications

• Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to workplace safety protocols
• Prior experience in a general labour role is an asset; we value individuals eager to learn and grow
• Willingness to follow instructions and work collaboratively with the maintenance team
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
• Basic mechanical aptitude and an interest in machinery and industrial processes
• Excellent work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
