Anomera seeks a Maintenance and Construction Coordinator for our Temiscaming QC operation. Working under the supervision of the Director of Engineering and Construction, the incumbent has the primary responsibility to coordinate the process equipment and building’s maintenance.The same person would also assume the responsibility of coordinating new plant equipment installations and existing system repairs.The ability to work as part of a team is critical to this position.
Responsibilities
Maintenance coordinator
·Planning, prioritizing, assigning, supervising, reviewing and participating in all tasks related to facility maintenance done internally or externally in conjunction with the operations team.
·Coordinate maintenance for all process equipments to ensure they meet working standards.
·Creating and implementing preventive maintenance procedures.
·Developing methods and schedules for facility maintenance.
·Help implementing a maintenance system; create equipment registry and database.
·Responsibly handling emergency situations or after-hours calls for repair and maintenance.
·Planning tasks and delegate them to the maintenance technicians, contractors, suppliers or other professionals.
·Overseeing spare parts stock and placing orders for new supplies when necessary.
·Ensures maintenance issues are resolved in a timely fashion with minimal impact to the operation
·Makes sure all components and equipement’s manuals are up to date and available on Sharepoint
·Makes recommendations to his supervisor on new technologies, methods, and materials for improving maintenance costs.
Construction coordinator
·Supervise the work of the contractor (RCC or external) and coordinate the activities of new construction sites.
·Sign workers' daily time sheets
·Control changes and modifications to ensure that activities remain within the scope of the project.
·Work closely with the operation team to ensure proper coordination of construction work and minimize impacts on production.
·Ensure a good coordination with the project engineer.
·Apply, follow and enforce health and safety rules on a construction site.
·Responsible for lockouts during construction work.
·Obtaining operation and maintenance manuals, warranties and annotated as-built plans and other relevant end-of-project documents.
·Write and follow the lists of deficiencies.
·Follow the receipt of materials and equipment.
Operational support
·Provide occasional operational support if needed (vacation, sickness, rush, etc.)
Building and assets
·Make sure the building is clean and safe (snow removal, sand, etc.).
·Routinely inspecting various elements of buildings and grounds, like lighting, HVAC/filters, fire alarms and sprinkler systems.
·Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures.
·Ensure all the tools, consumables and components are well stored and organized.
·Perform minor repairs, welding, plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, place service calls, etc.
·Managing waste and recycling (other than offices)
·Managing office cleaning contractor
General
·Maintain a positive, productive relationship with staff and RYAM
·Recognize when specialized knowledge is needed.
·Responsible for material, parts or equipment’s tracking and reception.
Qualifications
·Five (5) years of experience working in maintenance
·High school diploma (secondary 5 level)
·Bilingual communication skills in English & French
Location:Temiscaming, Quebec
Status: Permanent, full-time
