Job Description

As the Maintenance Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and execute various continuous improvement projects at the Mont-Joli plant. This includes analyzing the causes of equipment breakage and efficiently organizing the work of the maintenance team.


Reporting directly to the Engineering Lead, you will play a crucial role in the operational leadership and management of the team. You will actively identify opportunities for improvement and conduct data analysis to drive informed decision-making.


As an experienced Maintenance Engineering Specialist, you will actively contribute to the design and implementation of major projects. Your expertise in software such as SolidWorks will also be valuable in assisting with the creation of manufacturing drawings for different mechanical parts.


Your strong focus on maintaining productivity in the maintenance function will be instrumental in supporting our future growth. Additionally, as a registered member of l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, you bring a wealth of technical knowledge to the role and prioritize the safe and consistent operation of equipment while minimizing downtime.


Key Technical Criteria:

  • Good command of spoken and written French.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering
  • Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec or equivalent whithin Canada. (Preferred)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience working in the field of maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
