As a Constuction Inspector/ Coordinator, you will work in collaboration with the Civil Team 

 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

 

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project completion
  • Monitor project budgets and schedules and provide regular progress reports to management and stakeholders
  • Provide technical advice and support to contractors and other team members
  • Investigate and resolve construction-related issues and disputes
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities and expenses
  • Review and approve construction documentation, including plans, reports, and invoices
  • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with construction plans, specifications, and safety regulations
  • Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules

 

  • In-depth knowledge of construction regulations, safety practices, and project management principles
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Written and spoken proficiency in French and English
  • Post-secondary education, construction management experience, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction inspection and coordination, preferably in municipal infrastructure projects
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
