Job Description

Title: Logistics Specialist

Location: Ontario, Canada

Salary: $55,000 - $75,000


Client:

JBAndrews is currently partnered with a leading Project Logistics Solution Provider looking to add a Logistics Specialist to the team based out of Ontario, Canada. The client is dedicated to the niche market of Project Cargo in North America and is backed by a Global infrastructure of partners.


Responsibilities

  • Resolve client customer service issues
  • Complete thorough research for client requests to provide most advantageous solutions based on clients service and cost needs
  • Support and manage on-going vendor and partner relationships
  • Maintains professional, prompt and efficient customer relations
  • Ensure that rate requests and files are completed in accordance with corporate requirements
  • Maximize file revenue through ongoing evaluation and negotiations of best solutions while working closely with vendors and clients alike
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure quotation deadlines and shipment requirements are met


Qualifications

  • A degree in business, logistics, supply chain or related field
  • 3+ years experience in Break Bulk and Project Cargo Services
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
