WHO ARE WE
Genuine Comfort is Canada’s largest distributor of room air conditioners (ACs) and packaged terminal air conditioners (PTACs) to the hotel, multi-family residential, contractor and senior living community markets. Our company was founded in 2010, and we found early success growing through our commitment to our core values because our brand reflects who we are. Over the past 3 years, Genuine Comfort has grown over 400% through both acquisition and organic growth.
OUR CORE VALUES—Keeping it COOL
Communicating Effectively: Communicate openly, honestly, timely, directly and confidently.
Operating with Common Sense: We use common sense to make decisions quickly and as accurately as possible, with the thinking that a mistake made from a quick decision is better than no decision at all.
Owning It: We go the extra mile and are 100% responsible for our performance and results.
Learning and Growing: Embrace change. We challenge ourselves to be comfortable with being uncomfortable.
We make our employment decisions around these four core values. If you don’t feel you can operate within these at a high-level, this is probably not the opportunity for you, and that’s okay.
VISION DRIVEN
We have an ongoing 3-year and 10-year vision that everyone is aligned with. We lean into our team for planning, strategizing and execution of our vision, ensuring that we are rowing in the same direction. We achieved our 2023 vision 26 months ahead of schedule.
We are committed to growth and are always pursuing more efficient and effective ways of achieving our vision and mission. We have elevated expectations for our team members and the business. We are committed to people who want to grow, learn, and develop, and we are committed to winning and having a good time while doing so!
WHO ARE YOU
We are looking to partner with an individual who is driven, looking to grow, and ready to take the reins to level up and implement new processes. You are curious to learn and identify new ways to make us and this role better than before. Utilizing your experience, you want to execute what you’ve learned throughout your career to build something new.
Growth is on your mind, and you are dynamic with connecting with teams and developing the people around you. This comes from your excellent communication skills, ultimately breeding trust. Professional development is in your veins, and you love developing high-performing teams.
