We are seeking a Director of Logistics based in our Milton, Canada location to join the Supply Chain team.

Your Future Team


  • You will report directly to the North American Vice President of Supply Chain and will work closely with: Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain Directors of Customer Service, Logistics, and Procurement, and Sister OPCO’s.
  • You will become part of the Supply Chain team. The team describes themselves as a diverse team of professionals with a family spirit who bring varied backgrounds and expertise.
  • In this position, you will have the opportunity to put your stamp on things by identifying and developing processes, implementing WMS systems and leveraging your people management skills to drive employee engagement.


What You Will Be Doing
  • Inventory control & accuracy across North America network (internal/ external warehouses).
  • Management of 3PL and physical management of inventory/materials.
  • Key Performance Indicators:
  • Distribution Costs
  • Manage & optimize regional freight and distribution costs – develop & deliver budget.
  • Lead sourcing strategy & management of external carriers and 3PL’s in supporting growth plans.
  • Transportation Management – purchasing strategy, execution & management of relationships with carriers.
  • Develop & implement logistics strategy roadmap.
  • Manage & develop logistics team and resources.
  • Define & implement flexible network distribution strategy: sourcing, number & location of warehouses, transportation means, distribution schemes.
  • Safety & Environment (Internal & External)
  • Customer Service Level / Lead Time / Delivery Performance
  • Freight Costs
  • Inventory Accuracy
  • Control service levels & ensure capacity is available to support operational plans.


What You Bring


  • Demonstrated success building, transforming and leading a logistics function and team.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a people manager role.
  • Expert in field of logistics (transportation and distribution) with strong track record of delivering sustainable long-term business enhancements and efficiencies.
  • Experience in transportation, distribution, and 3PL management in a complex, multi-site, growth oriented manufacturing or distribution organization.
  • University degree plus a minimum of 10 years supply chain experience
  • Experience managing employees at multiple sites, through effective use of metrics and KPI’s.
  • Advanced systems aptitude (TMS/WMS) and excellent computer skills, working knowledge of SAP preferred.
