The Test Engineer will be responsible for developing procedures, methods and tools for test, verification and certification for customer Engineering Projects. The employee will validate testing activities and results, participate in design verification of new equipment and participate in preparing product compliance documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• To participate in Root Cause Analysis when repetitive failure of company’s products occur, or failure under warranty.
• To develop procedures and tools for testing, calibration and verification of the equipment, cooperating with the developers.
• To ensure accurate document, record and archive measurement data pertaining to product parameters and process control performance.
• Analyze technical requirements and effort associated with test systems and products.
• Develop automated test and repair capabilities
• To assist in training technicians when required, in troubleshooting and repairing returned products from the customers.
• Build, test, debug and develop C # applications.
• To ensure the equipment is properly tested, calibrated and certified according to the corresponding procedures.
• Generate engineering documents, including schematics, diagnostics, flowcharts, and project status reports.

Required Skills

• B.S. degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Master Degree is preferred)
• Good Communication and interpersonal skills
• Clear, discriminatory approach to solving engineering problems.
• 4+ years’ experience in testing electronic boards, modules and test equipment (with a Bachelor degree)
• Working knowledge of C#.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of Cable TV (CATV) technology is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical reasoning and problem solving
• Solid knowledge in electronics; analog, power and digital
• 3+ years' experience in testing electronic boards, modules and test equipment (with a Masters degree)
• Ability to interact professionally with the customer in written and verbal communications.
• Experience in Software and Hardware is required

Required Experience

• 1+ years working in the cable industry or a related industry.
• Proficiency in MSOffice (Word, Excel, Access, and Project), report preparation, and data analysis.
• Telecommunications technical experience and overall understanding
• Experience in developing test instructions and procedures
• B.S. in Engineering, or other technical discipline.
• 3+ years Engineering
