Job Description
Located in Mississauga, ON, Republic Packaging of Canada is one of Chicago-based Republic Packaging Corp.'s eight North American operating locations. As a 60 year-old provider of cushion packaging we are known for outstanding design, quality and customer service. In addition, we also provide warehouse management services that can complement our packaging products or be a stand-alone service to provide solutions to our customers' problems.


With our eye toward growth, we are actively working to grow our sales significantly over the next 3 years and enter new markets. We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our team in a sales capacity to help support and ultimately drive our growth.


Role responsibilities:


  • Identify customer problems (opportunities) and present customized solutions that meet the customer's needs.
  • Utilize CRM to document progress in the sales cycle and trigger follow up to build on strong customer interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with Operations and other functional areas to meet overall company goals.
  • Develop tools and capabilities that provide client access at the C-level.
  • Utilize an established process for selling products and value-added services to meet or exceed individual and company goals.
  • Align activities with company objectives to expand market segments while collaborating internally to promote solutions for clients.
  • Develop and present customer-specific Business Reviews of solutions currently being provided to the customer.
  • Support Customer Service and Inside Sales to proactively meet the needs of our customers.

What you bring:


  • Energy.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • A background in engineering and/or high technical aptitude.
  • A problem-solving mentality – not just in business.
  • Ability to travel regionally approximately 20%.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, people and diplomacy skills.
  • Extreme curiosity.
  • Ability to understand and accept a customized sales cycle.
