Lead Adas Test Operator

What To Expect
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to accelerate our vehicle-level testing by supporting and coordinating local operations, assisting with troubleshooting and incident reporting as needed. This is an individual contributor role; you are still expected to perform testing regularly.
This role requires the flexibility of traveling to domestic or international destinations as necessary.
What You’ll Do

• Maintain and document fleet conditions, coordinate repairs/retrofits as necessary
• Analyze test data, triage software issues and abnormal vehicle behaviors using Tesla in-house designed proprietary software tools
• Lead real-world testing according to test specifications, as well as providing ad-hoc support for business-critical tasks and other team needs
• Support the data collection effort to improve vehicle performance
• Drive local training efforts to continuously
• Provide training to local staff on step changes between software iterations
• Communicate with developers and test engineers, be on-call for questions/comments if necessary
• Provide real-time on-site support, proactively resolving any roadblocks to ensure smooth operations

What You’ll Bring

• Strong knowledge of electric vehicle systems and how they work, as well as strong troubleshooting skills preferred
• Strong computer skills, in particular a working knowledge and familiarity with MacOS, Linux, and Windows, as well as strong MS Office skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Fundamental understanding of ADAS and their sensors
• Minimum 4 years of licensed driving experiences
• Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Project management and/or fleet operations experiences preferred
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Clean driving record and safe driving habits
• Command Line Interface experience required
