Position Summary

The primary role of the Test Automation Developer is to create and implement automated test scripts and frameworks for software applications. To collaborate closely with the development and quality assurance teams to identify testing requirements and design effective test automation plans. Responsibilities include coding, scripting, and utilizing automation tools to simulate user interactions and ensure software functionality. Additionally, this role is responsible for reporting and tracking any issues and defects identified during automation, as well as actively contributing to process improvement initiatives. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of the software being developed. The position will also assist in release management and pipelines. The ideal candidate should have some background with .NET development, release processes, and test automation. You must be able to handle high velocity development with several projects active at any given time.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Participate in implementation of .NET applications;
• Read and write queries and stored procedures within Microsoft SQL Server;
• Perform other tasks and duties as needed and/or requested by management.
• Participate in functional requirements and design documentation;
• Participate in integration testing;
• Participate in creation of test automation scripts and programs;
• Document and code reviews;
• Write and maintain requirement-based QA test plans and test cases for application features;
• Participate in the build and release process;

Education Requirements

• Reading and writing queries/scripts/stored procedures. Table design. Performance tuning.
• Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent technical experience required.
• 2 years strong working experience in relational MSSQL database.
• Third party game testing frameworks.
• OpenCV or similar image recognition, Tesseract or similar OCR.
• 2 years' experience with unit test and test automation frameworks: Selenium, .NET UI Automation, Webdriver/Appium, nUnit.
• Experience with gameplay automation a plus.
• At least 2 years hands-on experience with C# software development and testing processes.

• Ability to make clear and concise descriptions of found issues illustrated by screenshots.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with technical organizations and management teams.

• Ability to identify test cases eligible for automation.
• Ability to coordinate with development and project management teams to write and maintain test cases.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
